There's a Begonia that could use a bit of sprucing up, and Ontario is doing just that to the 200 block of Begonia Street, as Andrea Bennett reported on Thursday.
"There's good people in this neighborhood," said Sgt. David McBride. "They may just be apartment renters, but they still have a stake in the neighborhood. And they see that we care."
An interdepartmental team from the city towed away old cars, hauled off abandoned couches and trash, and rounded up stray dogs.

I used to live a little northeast of the area (behind the current 99 Cents Only store) about 20 years ago. I wish the city luck in cleaning the place up.
