Inland Empire Music News - Hip Pocket and Vampire Weekend

Various sources are publishing music news about bands appearing in the Inland Empire.

The Inland Empire News reported that "Redlands-based straightahead jazz group" Hip Pocket is having a CD signing on Saturday afternoon at the Barnes & Noble in Redlands' Citrus Plaza from 1:00 to 4:00 pm.

And The Inland Empire News also announced that Hip Pocket would appear at RAXX Barbeque & Brewery in Riverside on Sunday at 6:30 pm.

They'll also appear at the Redlands Bowl's Summer Music Festival on August 12th.

(Warning: there are a ton of jazz bands that have a name using "Hip Pocket" in some form. This Hip Pocket is the Sandy Megas-led group.)

Meanwhile, David Allen announced that Vampire Weekend would appear at the Glass House in Pomona on September 16.

(There doesn't appear to be a lot of bands named Vampire Weekend; I could only find one.)
